Join CCA

CCA has been highly recognized by our local community because of its family oriented nature and the culture awareness. Many members and even non-members have benefited from the organization by getting the helps in learning the culture, getting the information of education, understanding the region for relocation and making friends and buddies for their career. The membership of CCA is open to all who are interested in CCA and willing to be members in our family. Please read CCA Membership for information on how to join CCA.

CCA Membership Information

The Corning Chinese Association welcomes anyone who is interested in its mission to become members. CCA normally collects its annual membership fees during the Spring Festival Celebration.

There are two types of membership: single and family. Generally, the family membership includes one couple with un-married children. The 2009 membership (expire by Chinese New Year 2010) dues are $50.00 for family membership, which includes visiting parent(s), and $25.00 for single membership. If you are single and have visiting parent(s), you will be considered a family membership.

Membership dues are prorated if you join CCA part way through the year. If you join after May 1, the fee is set at $30 per family or $15 for single. If you join after August 1, the fee is set at $20 per family or $10 for single.

Benefits of the membership

The CCA members, their children and parents can enjoy free admission for all the activities sponsored by CCA, including

·        Chinese New Year Celebration
·        all indoor gathering
·        all outdoor picnics
·        some of CCA classes
·        May Concert/Mother's Day Concert
·        Mid-Autumn (Full-Moon) Festival picnic

Guest fee
·        $20 per person age 13 and above
·        $5 per child of 5-12 years old
·        free for children under 5
